6. Question: How can I be sure that the information stored in my personal Health Link record will be kept private and secure?
Answer: Your personal Health Link record is protected in a highly-secured and encrypted fashion. Health Link uses multiple forms of security technology to ensure that all of your information is safe at all times. As an additional layer of safety and privacy, Health Link does not disclose any database information to any third party, nor does Health Link import or export any information to or from the database. Only emergency department doctors and nurses may see your personal Health Link record during an emergency.
