Question: Who has access to my personal Health Link record?
Answer: Access to your personal Health Link record will only be given to those individuals you designate (usually other family members and/or caregivers, or anyone you trust). In addition, Emergency Room doctors and nurses will also be granted “read-only” access to your personal Health Link record during the time of an emergency so that they can help treat you quickly, accurately and safely.

Question: What happens if I change insurance companies – how does my record get updated?
Answer: You (or anyone whom you designate and trust) can update your personal Health Link record at anytime 24 hours/day, 7days/week. A change in insurer will not affect the information maintained in your personal Health Link record.

Question: How can I update my personal Health Link record if I do not own or have access to a computer?
