Question: Does the hospital need to have my password in order to access information about me during an emergency?
Answer: No. Each medical facility has its own unique username and password and can access your personal Health Link record in read-only format using your 16-digit identification number during an emergency.

Question: Can my medical information be downloaded into the hospital’s computer system?
Answer: Emergency medical personnel will be granted “read-only” access to your personal Health Link record. Each hospital will have the option to either print your record to paper or print your record to a PDF, whichever is more convenient and applicable to the emergency room team.
