Question: What is the Health Link microchip made of?
Answer: The Health Link microchip is encapsulated in USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia) Type III Glass, containing a small, passive copper antenna.

Question: Will the Health Link microchip move throughout my body after it is implanted?
Answer: No, the Health Link microchip has a Bio-Bond coating which prevents it from moving throughout the body.

Question: Once implanted in my arm, will the Health Link microchip ever need to be changed?
Answer: No. Once implanted into the right arm the Health Link microchip will remain functional for the rest of your life and should not need to be changed or serviced.

Question: Are there any documented health issues from patients who have received the Health Link?
Answer: No. There are no reported adverse reactions to date. However, you should not have a microchip inserted if you are less than twelve (12) years of age, currently pregnant, or allergic to any of the components or local anesthetic, i.e. lidocaine. If you develop any type of infection or experience any type of discomfort please consult your physician and notify the Health Link medical service team.

Answer: Although there are no reported adverse reactions to date, if you develop any type of infection or experience any type of discomfort please consult your physician and notify the Health Link client services team.

Answer: No. The Health Link microchip uses passive RFID technology which does not require power.

Question: Can the Health Link microchip be removed?
Answer: Yes, the Health Link microchip can be removed.

Question: Is my social security number or any information about me stored on the Health Link microchip?
Answer: No. The Health Link microchip only contains a unique 16-digit identification number; no other information is stored on the medical device.
